Avocado Toast with Lemon Olive Oil
3 slices of rye bread (or other bread of choice)
1/2 a large avocado
Approx. 1 tablespoon vomFASS Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Ground black pepper
Red pepper flakes
4-6 slices of tomato
Assemble board with bread (toast if preferred)
Using a fork, mash avocado onto bread.
Drizzle Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the mashed avocado and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Recommend drizzling the olive oil onto the tomatoes, too. Season tomatoes with flaked salt and ground black pepper
Assemble board with any other toppings (e.g., smoked salmon and/or hard boiled eggs).
This version serves 2-4 people. Scale up for more people or scale down for just one.
